How do you pref er your toilet seat cover?
My roomate said she teh seat cover up because you are just going to have to pick it up when you want to ues it again. I was broughtg up being told it should be down. So whats teh right way?
There IS no "right way." The amount of time and contention that otherwise reasonable people devote to this perennial question never ceases to amaze me.
My second husband insisted that, if he had to put the seat down after use, I should have to put the lid down after use - every time. He grew up with a Mother and four sisters, so apparently, this was a Big Deal to him. It seemed unimportant to me, but quite reasonable. I quickly got in the habit of always lowering the lid after use. Peace at last!

Now I prefer to keep the lid down, myself, but it is because I live with four cats, who seem to think the toilet is their "kitty wading pool." I simply am not comfortable with this, and they always leave the seat all wet, if permitted to indulge this depraved dabbling. So the habit developed while living with my ex has served me well! )
Now, can we all, please, find something IMPORTANT to fight about? How about refolding the newspaper after use, or who gets to hold the remote while watching TV?
